Overview

Your 4-hour tour starts you off with a Trini-style breakfast with lots of delicious options from which to choose.
Following this, you will be driven to a food truck to have a couple of Trinidad's most delicious morning street foods.
With your full tummy, you will then head to the market town of Chaguanas where your senses will enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes.
You'll then be taken on a scenic drive through a winding country road to visit a farmers' market located in a very historic and lush valley. This market focuses on organic produce and being environmentally friendly. Besides being able to do some shopping, you will also be enjoying a cup of homemade hot chocolate or coffee.

What To Expect

San Juan

You’ll be stopping at a little neighbourhood breakfast shop. Here you’ll have a wide choice of Trini breakfast items from which to choose, such as salt fish, smoked herring, fried plantain and more! Your choice will come with a type of flatbread called, sada roti. Everything is homemade by a wonderful family.

As you near the first market stop you’ll be stopping by a food truck where you’ll get a couple of spicy Trini favourites; doubles (spicy chickpeas with fried bread) and saheena (fritters made with spinach split peas powder and lots of spices). Made hot on the spot! You’ll be licking your fingers afterwards!

Immerse yourself into Trinidad's communal market life where, like a local, you walk through a bustling market filled with local fresh produce, including the famous Scorpion Pepper, fresh meats and fish! The sights, sounds and smells will captivate you.
