Overview

Terry's Tobago Fun Island Tour is the most popular tour among island visitors, and for good reason. While we do offer shorter island tours (such as the Highlights of Tobago Half-Day Tour), this all-day tour is the best way to make the most of your trip and really see what Tobago is about, including just enough history, culture and beach to satisfy everyone’s interests. Be sure to bring your swimsuits and some dry clothes so you can snorkel in some of the island’s breathtaking hidden bays. An authentic Caribbean lunch is included with the tour, an experience in itself. Your guide will pick you up around 8:30 a.m. and drop you off around 6:00 p.m.

NOTE: The tour vehicle has air conditioning; however, the local government has recommended it not be used due to COVID-19. Please feel free to speak with your tour guide further regarding this local guidance.

What To Expect

Fort King George
The first stop is on the North Atlantic Ocean side of Tobago. This is the best preserved historical site with a chance to see the old canons from the battles in 1770’s. It is a destination steeped in rich history and offers one of the most breathtaking views of Port of Spain and the sea beyond.

Speyside
The tour also includes a visit to Speyside Lookout to see “Goat Island” which was the former home of Ian Fleming the author and creator of James Bond. We will also be able to see “Little Tobago” which is better known as “Paradise Island,” now a bird and wildlife sanctuary.

We pass through some small villages and along the way we will see the famous “Jemma’s Tree House” restaurant. This part of the tour will also include a stop at the ruins of the largest water wheel built by the Scottish in Tobago.

Charlotteville
Charlotteville is the highlight of this tour. We head to the north of the island to Charlotteville, the gem of Tobago where the Caribbean Sea flows along the coastline. You have likely seen the beautiful photographs taken of this area.

Tobago’s best kept secret is “Pirates Bay” which we certainly hope will be the most memorable part of your day. You will enjoy a short private boat trip to a secluded wild beach. Lunch is also included and you will get to taste some of our local Caribbean delicacies. Snorkeling equipment is also provided so you can enjoy the beautiful underwater landscape and nature at its best.

After a few hours enjoying this bay, you will bep icked up by boat and taken to “Pink Sand Beach” (better know as “Lovers Bay”), a private beach only accessible by boat. What a great way to connect with nature, relax and unwind, and simply spend a few hours enjoying this peaceful paradise.

Tobago
We will then continue our tour down to the Caribbean side of the island where breathtaking views combine with the setting of the sun to see the island in its top stunning beauty. Finally, we drive back down the west coast of the island to Crown Point where we end our day at 6:00 p.m. You will then be dropped off at your hotel.

Educational, fun, and breath taking views

I did this tour about a month ago and it was too awesome to forget. Terry the tour guide is very knowledgeable about all things Tobago and is very flexible and kind. This tour gave an overview of the whole island. I felt safe and enjoyed myself and all of Tobago's novelties from a true Tobagan that is proud of his country and wants to spread the joy and love. I'll definitely be touring with Tobago Fun again!
The Best Day we had in Tobago!

I absolutely LOVED the full day tour! First of all, I never write these reviews, but I have to leave one here after such a cool experience. Terry was wonderful. I’m visiting Tobago with my husband on our honey moon from New York and we decided to take a tour to see a bit more of the island. My expectations were blown out of the water! Terry brought us to so many cool spots, some must see tourist stops and some local hidden gems. We went to 5 different beaches, all of which were so cool in their own way, my favorites were stunning/secluded/tropical paradises, 2 of which you have to get to by boat.
Terry arranged everything; our lunch, drinks, etc. Terry is incredibly knowledgeable of Tobago, his love and passion for the island makes you want to know more about it, and he’ll customize the tour based on what you want to know and are into. He easily answered any questions we had, which were many!
We saw historical monuments, breathtaking views, all types of beautiful rare birds, fish, plants, trees, hundred year old buildings/forts and we ate delicious food, drank from coconuts and ate all types of fruits right off of trees. We snorkeled, rode a boat, bathed in gorgeous bays and saw tons of villages through out the island, We really SAW the island, thanks to this tour. Trust me you won’t regret it!
All the best of Tabago
