Overview

Queen's Park Savannah
Friday PM: After dark Tour-

Visit to Pan Yards for last bit of practice before final competition on Saturday. Taste

Trinidad street foods (corn soup, roti, jerk chicken etc. (cost on own)

experience the buzz and excitement of Carnival at The Queen Park Savannah.

Carnival Saturday

Children’s Carnival and Panorama Final

We walk the street with the kids, visit a Mas camp, have lunch Roti (cost on own) and depart for the Caroni Swamp tours (cost on own) is a wildlife reserve in Central Trinidad. It is home for a diverse range of animals. From our little river launch, you can view anteaters, caymans, cranes, or some of the many migratory birds. The highlight of this tour is our National Bird, the Scarlet Ibis. This Swamp is one of a few places it makes its home.

7:30: Panorama finals (we go backstage to hear the Steel band rehearse before they go on stage).

Carnival Sunday

A tour of the City and we then travel through the Santa Cruz valley on our way, we make a stop at the Maracas lookout where you can purchase some local chow before we depart for Maracas Beach stop and Venture along the mountainous, picturesque North Coast road through sleepy villages while viewing an abundance of flora and Fauna, then retreat to Maracas Bay for a bit of sea, sun and sand and a sampling of our world famous Maracas Bake and Shark (cost on own) Return to Hotel: in the PM

6:00PM -On this night you have the Dimanche Gras show where all the finalists from various Carnival events

compete for a crown. We go backstage to see the King and Queen rehearse before they go on stage (return in the PM to hotel). Please Note that the King and Queen show can be on Carnival Friday so adjustment will be made.

Carnival Monday AM - PM

Carnival Monday AM - J’Ouvert celebrations (start of Carnival) we pick you up from your Hotel just as the sun rise and transport you to view the opening of carnival. You can come out in your J’Ouvert wear (short pants, t-shirt / vest and sneakers) (to lime with the Locals). (Breakfast / Drinks cost included. AM return to your Hotel. Pick up afternoon for Queens Park Savannah Lime. PM return to Hotel

Tuesday AM - cost included)

Depart hotel for Parade of the bands around the Savannah where the main activities will take place. Ticket cost included.

Ash Wednesday - Depart for Airport
